“Draco,” Snape growled, “I believe that I advised you to not make an appearance. You are going to have to leave. You have no reason to be here”
“You know why I’m here Severus,” Draco spat in reply, keeping his grimace intact. “She’s here, isn’t she?”
The elder man glared his eyes at the boy struggling to get out of Filch’s grasp. “I do not know to whom you are referring to. Now leave, before you cause more of a scene.”
“I can’t leave without her. I refuse.”
“Mr. Filch,” Snape said, calling the man’s attention, “I’ll take over from here,” he said as he led the blonde boy into the empty corridor.
“Get your hands off of me!” Draco grumbled.
The professor backed him into the wall, “Do you have any idea what you almost just did back there? Consider yourself lucky no one knew who you came there for,” he drawled.
“She’s my girlfriend-“
“Not anymore,” Snape retorted; cutting the boy off. “You have a job to do Draco and I promised your mother that I would protect you. This. ends. now.”
“I don’t care. I only want her,” Draco sighed, feeling defeated. “And she won’t even talk to me now, not that I blame her.”

Hermione quickly pulled her best friend behind the curtain at the first sign of blonde hair in the room.“Merlin Hermione, what was that for?” Harry said, rubbing his wrist which she had roughly pulled on.
“He-,” she nearly started but realized she couldn’t say it. She couldn’t tell him the real reason without him figuring out her history with Draco. That she was hoping avoiding him would be better than the alternative; which was dealing with the fact that she had dated a death eater. It was innocent. Only a week ago they were sitting by a fire in the room of requirement, his head on her lap as he slept. It was warm, so without waking him, she tried to push up the sleeves up his jacket, hoping he wouldn’t overheat. As she slid up the sleeve of his left arm, that was when she saw it. The Dark Mark. They hadn’t spoken since, and the next morning Draco had woken alone on the couch, with both sleeves pushed up.
“Erm, it was Cormac,” she rushed out, lying through her teeth. “He hasn’t left me alone all night.”

“They will see Draco..if we’re not careful” Hermione whispered frantically. She knew the Amortentia Draco had accidentally ingested was causing the Slytherin prince to stand so close, but she couldn’t help to be a little flattered.
“No they won’t” he whispered, twirling a curl around his fingers “..Buttercup” His face was twisted into a goofy grin and it slightly disturbed Hermione. Draco never smiled, smirked maybe..but never smiled. MERLIN they were in trouble.
“Wont they??” she growled out. He was driving her batty. If any professors or students found out Draco had consumed the love potion they would be the laughing stock. WHY did he have to pull this prank? Did he think it wouldn’t backfire??
